What is flaxseed atta?
Flaxseed atta is wheat flour with ground flax seeds milled in. Ours also carries jowar, so every roti gets plant omega-3 from the flax and extra fibre from the millet, without changing how you knead or cook.
How do I make rotis with flaxseed atta?
Exactly as with regular atta. Knead with warm water, rest the dough for 10 minutes, and roll as usual. The flax and jowar ratio is balanced so rotis stay soft and pliable, not dense.
Can I use flax seeds atta for anything besides rotis?
Yes: parathas, dosas, cheelas and baking. It behaves like a wholewheat flour with a slightly nutty taste.
